CLARIN-IT was present at the CLARIN Annual Conference 2020, originally scheduled in Madrid, but become virtual due to the dynamics of the new Coronavirus.
Day 1
In the morning of 5th October 2020 Monica Monachini co-chaired the Opening & Steven Krauwer Award Ceremony, in which Francesca Frontini (CNR-IT / CLARIN-IT & Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 / CLARIN-FR) was among the winners.

Day 2
In the afternoon of 6th October 2020, during the Session "Data Curation, Archives and Libraries" (slides), Niccolò Pretto introduced the paper Building a Home for Italian Audio Archives (slides) by Silvia Calamai, Niccolò Pretto, Monica Monachini, Maria Francesca Stamuli, Silvia Bianchi and Pierangelo Bonazzoli, while Federico Boschetti introduced the paper “Tea for Two”: the Archive of the Italian Latinity of the Middle Ages Meets the CLARIN Infrastructure (slides) by Federico Boschetti, Riccardo Del Gratta, Monica Monachini, Marina Buzzoni, Paolo Monella and Roberto Rosselli Del Turco.

Day 3
In the afternoon of 7th October 2020, during the Session "CLARIN in the Classroom" (slides), moderated by Francesca Frontini, two Italian experiences related to the use of CLARIN resources, tools or services were introduced: Digital Philology and Computational Linguistics by Federico Boschetti and Monica Monachini; Computational Linguistics by Simonetta Montemagni and Giulia Venturi.
Subsequently, at the CLARIN Bazaar 2020, the following posters were introduced: Social Science and Humanities Open Cloud: why vocabularies matter (slides) by Iulianna Van der Lek and Monica Monachini; Ti racconto l’italiano. Italian art, culture and economy as told through speech archives (poster) by Sabina Magrini, Piero Cavallari, Cecilia Valentini and Silvia Calamai; Profiling-UD: a tool for linguistic profiling of multilingual texts by Dominique Brunato, Andrea Cimino, Felice Dell’Orletta, Simonetta Montemagni and Giulia Venturi.
