Collaboration of CLARIN-IT within the Erasmus+ Network 'ANTIDOTE'

CLARIN-IT is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Ca’ Foscari University Venice in the framework of ANTIDOTE - Advanced Training in Digitization of Older Texts, a European Network funded under the Erasmus+ Programme through the Grant Agreement No. KA220-HED-D3AFF6E.
The aim of ANTIDOTE is to offer training in the digitization of older texts, primarily medieval texts, to advanced students and staff wanting to upskill.
Training will provide a wide range of digital skills and competences able be applied to medieval texts and manuscripts and transferred to other fields as well.
Such expertise will include abilities to create, process, link and manage text and image data and abilities to use and design data sets, databases and digital scholarly editions.
The ANTIDOTE Network is formed of seven institutions: University of Iceland (Reykjavík, IS | coordinating institution), Charles University (Prague, CZ), Klosterneuburg Abbey Library (AT), Comenius University (Bratislava, SK), Ca’ Foscari University Venice (IT), CNRS (Paris and Lyon, FR) and Trinity College Dublin (IE).
ANTIDOTE kicked-off on 1st September 2024 and will run up to 31st August 2027.
