Study Day on Oral Sources and Archives

On the occasion of UNESCO Day dedicated to Audiovisual Heritage, the Permanent Committee for the Treatment of Oral Sources (AISO, AISV, DGA-MIC, ICBSA-MIC, Ferruccio Parri National Institute) is organizing the 7th edition of the Study Day dedicated to Oral Sources and Archives, entitled Oral Sources and the History of Science and Technology - Disciplinary Perspectives and New Objects of Study.
The event will be held on 27/10/2026, from 10:00 to 17:00, at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan (Via Olona 6B - Biancamano Room) and will be focused on the use of oral sources for history and technical-scientific museology and their relationship with new information technologies.

A specific session will introduce case studies of archives and research on traditional and informal knowledge in the technical-scientific, artisanal and artistic fields.
The deadline for the submission of contributions is scheduled for 15/09/2026.
