Participation in Innovative and Strategic Projects

The importance of belonging to the CLARIN-ERIC network and its relevance for the Italian research community of Human and Social Sciences has resulted in the participation of Italy and CNR in the partnerships of large European and national infrastructural projects and regional projects.

Such projects, which span from 2018 to 2025, see a massive presence of CLARIN national consortia and of national consortia of other infrastructures of the sector and ensure the sustainability of CLARIN-IT in the years to come.
Furthermore, part of the activities carried out and of the results obtained within CLARIN-IT are precisely the outcome of synergies with such projects.
A virtuous circle therefore occurs: on the one hand, CLARIN-IT exercises the attractiveness of funds and a self-financing capacity; on the other hand, the involvement in innovative and strategic projects derives precisely from the belonging of Italy and CNR to the CLARIN-ERIC network.
